Thank you for visiting my 2010 Campaign website. I am glad you are interested in finding out more about why I am running again for Senate District 37.

I am proud to have been a part of the many accomplishments we have made since I was elected into office in 2006. We have strengthened our education system, made healthcare more available to all Iowans, increased economic development and continually achieved strong fiscal management of the taxpayers’ dollars.

Iowa is facing tough times due to the national recession. State revenues have decreased and too many Iowans have lost their jobs. These are definitely challenges we will face head on. I will continue to work hard every day to create more good paying jobs in our district and give more growth opportunities to our small business owners. I will fight for a strong education system and for our children so they may learn and grow to their potential. I will balance the budget with strong fiscal management and not raise taxes.

I love the state of Iowa and I know better times are ahead. I will stand beside you as we go through these difficult times. You will always find me fighting for issues that matter the most to Iowa families.
